Police say a Union Springs man was taken into custody following investigation into multiple bench warrants.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cory J. Smith, 41, of Union Springs on a bench warrant issued by the Savannah Town Court and Wolcott Village Court.
Deputies arrested Smith on bench warrants for criminal mischief, criminal trespass, obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment.
Smith was taken into custody and is pending arraignment.
