You can help keep state and local parks beautiful by participating in upcoming spring cleanup events near you.
May 7 is New York’s 11th annual “I Love My Park Day.” Nearly 150 sites across the state will host cleanup events to celebrate New York’s public lands, according to WIVT.
Volunteers can help at state parks, local parks, historical sites, or public lands by picking up debris, planting trees and flowers, maintaining trails, removing invasive species, and helping with other site-specific projects.
