Rose man arrested for endangering the welfare of a child

Police arrested a Rose man following a special investigation.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Damien D.J. Baird, 20, of Rose for endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

The charges stem from a special investigation where it is alleged that Baird acted inappropriately with a child younger than 17-years-old.

Baird was issued an appearance ticket and will answer charges at a later date.
