The price of gas has been falling over the last few weeks and it will fall even more June 1.
Yates County Administrator Nonie Flynn says that’s one piece of good news in the recently passed state budget.
The bill was sponsored by Democratic State Senator James Skoufis of Cornwall. Flynn took part in a budget briefing by the NY State Association of Counties. She says next year’s budget also returns to counties tax revenue it has kept for itself in the past.
