The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team (4-7) fell to the Cornell Big Red (10-1), 16-15, in overtime on Monday night at the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse led the entire first half, but Cornell outscored the Orange 9-4 in the second half to force overtime and eventually pick up the win.
The Orange were led by Brendan Curry’s four goals. Tucker Dordevic also recorded a hat trick in the loss.
John Piatelli led Cornell with six goals. Hugh Kelleher netted the game-winner in overtime.
