Hornell woman cited following traffic stop in Penn Yan

Police say a Hornell woman was cited following a traffic stop.

According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department charged Michelle L. Boarder, 48, of Cornell with operating with a suspended registration.

Boarder was observed to be operating on Liberty Street in Penn Yan while having a suspended New York State registration. Upon investigation, a NYS DMV check also revealed the vehicle did not have valid insurance.

Boarder was cited for the offenses and will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer charges.
