That was the message delivered by the selection committee tasked with choosing the first- and next town manager of Seneca Falls.
Supervisor Mike Ferrara told the rest of the board last week that a second search would be launched.
“We don’t want to hire someone just to have a person in the position,” Ferrara said. “They must be the right fit for the town.”
The job carries a salary of $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
The committee consists of elected officials, town employees, and a community member.
