The Geneva Industrial Agency has given the green light to an incentive package to rehabilitate an historic church.
The Trinity Inn project saw its incentive package approved on Friday by the city’s Industrial Development Agency.
Developers plan to convert the property into an inn, events center, and restaurant.
A number of structural repairs are necessary- and board chair Anne Nenneau said it would be ‘a sham’ to see the building deteriorate further.
The IDA approved a 15-year payment in lieu of taxes agreement. The PILOT totals roughly $3.1 million. Without it- developers would pay around $2 million more.
The project’s total value is around $10 million.
