Call it a quiet weather weekend in the Finger Lakes. Despite the fact that it will be cooler than normal — the Storm Trackers Team says the forecast looks more tranquil than the last few days.
While there will be a chance for some heavier showers Friday afternoon — things will quiet down significantly after that.
Storm Trackers Team Forecaster Joshua Pan says a little rain will work into the area Saturday morning — ushering in west winds during the afternoon and evening hours.
Despite those showers though — Saturday will offer plenty of dry time. Temperatures both Saturday and Sunday will hover in the 40s.
Pan says the next big weather-related item to watch will be a warm-up into next week — as well as the prospect for thunderstorms.
