They will be sent based on your birth date.

When will I get the check?
About 64 million Social Security beneficiaries noticed a 5.9% in their cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) in 2022. The checks will be going out on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays depending on your birthday. Additional information can be found here.
The COLA increase means that retired workers will see a rise in their monthly checks. The payment was $1,565, but has risen to $1,657.
Couple’s benefits were $2,599 but will now be $2,753 a month.
The checks will be sent according to birth date:
- birth date on the 1st-10th of the month, your check will be delivered April 13
- birth date on the 11th-20th, your check will be delivered April 20
- birth date on the 21st-31st, your check will be delivered April 27
