Troopers say one person was taken into custody with 19 outstanding warrants after a pursuit in Onondaga County.
According to a news release, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit attempted a traffic stop in the town of Dewitt around 8:18 p.m. on Thursday.
The vehicle operated by Stephen Marks, 47, of Syracuse failed to stop. He led troopers on a pursuit, which eventually came to an end without incident.
Marks was taken into custody after troopers found 19 outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was wanted for kidnapping in North Carolina.
The US Marshal Task Force responded to the scene and took Marks into custody on Fugitive from Justice charges.
