The Seymour Library in Auburn will begin its next phase of construction this month, with curbside-only pickup available during “demo week.”
Renovations planned for the library’s West Lobby (Main Lobby) include a new layout, furniture, elevator modernizations, and energy-efficient lighting, according to The Citizen. The addition of new bay windows will add more reading and study space for library-goers.
The library will be open for pickup only during “demo week,” which runs from Monday, April 18 through Saturday, April 23. Staff will be available Monday through Friday 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Due dates for library items due during demo week have been extended to April 25.
