The Hobart Statesmen dropped its fifth straight game with a 16-12 loss to Saint Joseph’s at Sweeney Field on Saturday afternoon.
The game was tied 5-5 after the first quarter, but Saint Joseph’s went on a run to take a 10-5 lead at the break. Hobart made it a one-goal game late in the third, but the Hawks outscored the Statesmen 4-1 in the fourth to pull away for the victory.
Ryan Archer and Bradley Simas each scored four goals to lead Hobart. Tommy Mott, Alex Rosa, Sam Ward and Chad Bach also tallied.
Kevin Holtby made nine saves in the loss.
Saint Joseph’s was led by Tucker Brown’s six goals. Carter Page, Levi Anderson and Austin Strazzulia also recorded multi-goal games in the win.
Robbie Seeley stopped 11 shots for the Hawks.
Hobart will host Wagner next Saturday at 12 p.m.
