Buffalo Sabres defenseman Colin Miller has cleared the NHL’s COVID-19 protocols, head coach Don Granato announced Saturday.
However, he will need a few rehab skates before he rejoins the team for practice.
Buffalo has 13 games remaining this season, so he could be back in time to play in a few of them.
Miller has recorded 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) in 36 games this season.
The Sabres host the Florida Panthers on Sunday afternoon as they look to extend their point streak to nine games.
