The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a grain bin fire that first responders were called to during the evening hours on Thursday.
Around 8:30 p.m. deputies responded to an address on State Route 96 in Waterloo for a structure fire.
Upon arrival they found a grain bin with crops inside, which had caught fire.
Border City, Oaks Corners, Waterloo, and Geneva fire departments responded to the scene.
The fire was extinguished without incident. The grain bin was owned by Quentin Good of Waterloo.
