Anselem mostly served as a backup to Jesse Edwards last season. He did start six games at the end of the year after Edwards suffered an injury.
The redshirt freshman averaged 2.6 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14 minutes per game last season. He also shot 62.5% from the floor.
The Orange currently have three centers left on their roster in Jesse Edwards, John Bol Ajak and incoming freshman Peter Carey.
