New York Kitchen plans expansion for Canandaigua facility

The non-profit New York Kitchen plans a new educational space to enlarge their Canandaigua tasting room.

The 800 S Main St. non-profit opened their facility in 2006. The new outdoor terrace space will be open three seasons a year and located on the first floor of the facility. The terrace will be named after late New York Kitchen (NYK) board member Sandy Parker, who passed away from cancer in June 2021, according to Daily Messenger.

The project will increase NYK’s capacity to showcase the region’s craft beer industry. Parker’s husband Dutch Summers and the Sands Family Foundation have committed to matching community donations up to $200,000.

You can check out NYK’s website or contact Alyssa Belasco, Executive Director of Donor Relations and Development, at [email protected] for more details about the project and how to donate.
