Police arrested a Monitor Falls man following a shoplifting complaint.
According to a news release, State Police out of Big Flats arrested Earl G. Macdougall, 27, from Montour Falls for petit larceny.
The arrest stems from a complaint at the Walmart in Horseheads after a report of an individual stealing items.
Macdougall was released on an appearance ticket and will answer charges at a later date.
