Who is eligible?
In order to qualify, you must have filed an individual income tax return in Maine. You must be a full-time resident for the 2020 tax year. There is also man income requirement. Click here to read more.
In addition to being a Maine resident, your adjusted gross income must be less than $75,000 or under $150,000 for joint filers. Head of household filers have to make less than $112,500.
Those who have business income are not eligible for the payment.
Maine’s Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) said that if you haven’t been contacted or received it, you must contact them no later than March 31,2022. Their phone number is (207) 624-9924.
