The trial for a former Geneva Middle School Principal, which was supposed to begin this month, has been delayed.
John DeFazio Jr.’s trial was originally set to begin this week but has been delayed due to a scheduling conflict with DeFazio’s attorney, according to Finger Lakes Daily News. DeFazio faces a misdemeanor charge for endangering the welfare of a child in an October 2021 incident that occurred on school grounds.

As of right now, a new date for the trial has not been set.
