Park cleanup volunteers needed

To coincide with Earth Day events in April, Livingston County is searching for volunteers to help clean up its 80-acre Al Lorenz Park. Details are as follows:
Location
Livingston County’s Al Lorenz Park
Al Lorenz Drive, Mount Morris, NY 14510 (off of Murray Hill Drive)
Meet at Pavilion #4 to register
Date
April 30, 2022
Time
9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

“We are so fortunate to have this amazing public space and natural resource right here in our own backyard,” stated Deputy County Administrator William Mann. “One of our main goals for the cleanup event is to build a base of volunteers who will work together to protect the beautiful and unique Al Lorenz Park for future generations. Please consider joining us as we strive to make a difference and keep the environment clean!”

This cleanup is a rain or shine event, so volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. Livingston County will supply trash bags, while volunteers should bring their own gloves and litter pickup tools. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 years old. Registration will occur at Pavilion #4 on the day of the event, and each volunteer will be required to complete an Event Waiver Form at that time.

For more information on the cleanup event, please call Livingston County Central Services at 585.243.7500.
