Michigan residents receiving food stamps will be fortunate enough to see additional SNAP benefits for the month of March.
Bridge Cards, or EBT cards, can expect to be loaded with the extra benefits between March 19 and 28.
The payments will be loaded separate from the regular payments made at the beginning of the month.
Those who do not already see the maximum can expect that in March.
If people already get the maximum they will see $95 more dollars.
The extra benefits started in April of 2020 when the government allowed states that declared an emergency to supply their residents with additional food stamps.
The money for the funding came from the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
