Wegmans issues fresh-cut fruit recall over possible listeria contamination

Wegmans has recalled pre-cut fruit sold at their grocery stores due to possible listeria contamination.

Products like Wegmans brand fresh watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe have been pulled from the shelves. If your product has an 8-digit code found below the ‘best by’ date that looks like this: 02101XXX then your product is unaffected by the recall and safe to consume.

All products can be returned to the Customer Service desk at any Wegmans location in New York for a full refund. Click here for a full, detailed list of products affected by this recall.
