Lightning reassign goaltender Amir Miftakhov to Crunch

The Tampa Bay Lightning reassigned goaltender Amir Miftakhov to the Syracuse Crunch from the Orlando Solar Bears on Tuesday.

The Crunch also released goaltender Corbin Kaczperski from his Professional Tryout Contract.


Miftakhov appeared in 21 games for Syracuse this season, tallying a 6-8-4 record with a 2.92 goals-against average and .895 save percentage. The 21-year-old was selected by the Lightning in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Draft.

Syracuse will be back in action Wednesday when they host the Cleveland Monsters at 7 p.m.
