The Syracuse Crunch fell to the Bridgeport Islanders, 7-4, on Saturday night at the Total Mortgage Arena.
The game was tied 3-3 after two periods, but Bridgeport outscored Syracuse 4-1 in the third period to secure the victory.
Simon Ryfors, Anthony Richard, Otto Somppi and Gage Goncalves scored for the Crunch.
Corbin Kaczperski stopped 21-of-27 shots in the loss.
Richard Panik scored twice for the Islanders while Andy Andreoff, Erik Brown, Grant Hutton, Arnaud Durandeau and Simon Holmstrom also netted goals.
Jakub Sharek turned aside 42-of-46 shots to earn the win.
The Crunch finished 2-for-5 on the power play and 3-for-4 on the penalty kill.
Syracuse will play their third game in a row on Sunday night as they host the Belleville Senators at 7 p.m.
