The Seneca Falls Performing Arts Center (SFPAC) is fundraising to help cover the cost of their Congregational Church renovation project.
The non-profit purchased the property from the Seneca County House of Concern in December 2021 for $90,000, according to Finger Lakes Times.
SFPAC plans to convert the church into a performing arts venue with a nearly 300-guest capacity, piano lounge, refreshment bar, commercial kitchen, green room, box office, storage space, and restrooms.
While SFPAC is applying for multiple state grants, they also hope the community will donate to help fully cover the cost of the project. The organization plans to host multiple fundraising events over the next 12-24 months.
