Police say a Rochester woman was arrested following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Yazmin L. Smith, 25, of Rochester on three bench warrants.
The arrest stems from a traffic stop in which Smith was speeding on State Route 104 and it was later discovered she was operating without a license. Upon further investigation, deputies learned that Smith had two outstanding bench warrants out of Rochester Police Department for unauthorized use of a vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child. Additionally, she had one outstanding bench warrant out of Monroe County for disorderly conduct.
Smith was arrested on all three warrants and turned over to Rochester Police Department. She will answer all the charges at a later date.
