Many Americans are able to claim mileage reimbursement for business purposes with the IRS, and in Dec. the rates changed.
The reimbursement is used for vehicles used for business, charity, medical purposes, or for moving in the U.S.
The best move, according to the IRS, is for taxpayers to choose the standard mileage rate for the first year they claim reimbursement.
They may then choose that rate or actual expenses.
