Auditions for Geneva Theatre Guild’s 2022 Playwrights Play Readings are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on March 28th and 29th, at the Presbyterian Church, 24 Park Place, Geneva (The parking lot is behind the church, entrance off Washington Street).
We are excited to announce that this year we will be offering a Hybrid version of our Playwrights Play Readings event. While we will be casting in person this year and not online, we will still offer the ability to view the production through a ticketed online portal, so you will still be able to enjoy the performances from the comfort of your home, while we perform live on location for local audiences.
More than 150 plays were submitted for review by the Guild’s selection committee. Audition pieces will be chosen from the plays selected to be performed for this event, which is scheduled to take place the evenings of April 22 and 23, and the afternoon of April 24.
Auditions are open to all ages. No special preparation is needed. You will be asked to read alone and in a group setting. All wishing to audition will be asked to provide proof of vaccination at the door.
