Traffic stop in Ontario leads to DWI arrest

Police say a Henrietta man was arrested following a traffic stop.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Louis Zito, 29, of Henrietta for driving while intoxicated.

Zito was initially pulled over for failure to stop at a stop sign in the town of Ontario. During the traffic stop, it was discovered he had been operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety testing and was taken into custody. Additionally, he provided a breath sample yielding a .11 BAC.

Zito was remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
