The Buffalo Bills keep bringing back former players.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, defensive end Shaq Lawson is returning to Buffalo on a one-year contract.
Lawson was drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He appeared in 50 games over four years, recording 16.5 sacks and 108 total tackles.
Lawson signed a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins in free agency in 2020, but played only a season for the franchise. He was traded from Miami to Houston last March. Then the Texans turned around and traded him to the New York Jets in August.
In 2021, Lawson had one sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery playing 14 games with seven starts.
