Bills release WR Cole Beasley

The Buffalo Bills have released veteran wide receiver Cole Beasley, the team announced on Thursday.

Beasley asked for a trade two weeks ago and the Bills gave him permission to seek a trade, but Buffalo couldn’t find a deal that they liked.

Beasley spent three seasons in Buffalo and ranked second on the team with 82 receptions in 2021. He posted career highs with 82 receptions and 967 yards in 2020 and was named second team Associated Press All-Pro.

The 32-year-old is entering his 11th year in the NFL.

Last week the team re-signed Isaiah McKenzie to a two-year contract.
