Auburn residents can sign up for ten percent savings on their electric bills, thanks to a solar power project getting underway at the former city landfill.
Auburn City Clerk Chuck Mason says the project was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but is now ready to go.
NYSEG customers who sign up with Auburn Community Solar will receive credits on their bills, based on their electricity usage. The credit will appear on customers’ NYSEG bills.
