Seneca Falls woman arrested for DWI after having registered three times the legal limit

Police report the arrest of a Seneca Falls woman following a traffic stop.

According to a news release, Painted Post Troopers arrested Taryn R. Nie, 31, of Seneca Falls for driving while intoxicated.

Troopers responded to a disabled vehicle on I-86 in the town of Corning. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Nie and she was arrested after failing multiple standard roadside sobriety tests. Nie recorded a .26% BAC which is three times the legal limit. Additionally, she was issued multiple traffic tickets.

Nie will return to the Town of Erwin Court at a later date to answer charges.
