Ithaca Police Department honors officers’ community outreach efforts

The Ithaca Police Department (IPD) honored two local officers on Monday, March 14.

Sergeant Mary Orsillo and Officer Ryan Card were honored during a special meeting of the Ithaca Kiwanis Club on Monday, according to WENY.

Both were recognized for their work in the Law Enforcement Assistant Diversion Program, which includes outreach efforts to the homeless community.

The IPD honors officers on a monthly basis.
