Police say a Penn Yan resident was charged following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department ticketed Kalexis Roper, 22, of Penn Yan for aggravated unlicensed operation.
Following a traffic stop, a DMV check revealed Roper had a suspended New York driver’s license for failure to answer summons.
Roper was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
