Romulus woman arrested for welfare fraud

Police say a Romulus woman was arrested following an investigation into welfare fraud.

According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Danielle Duncan, 25, of Romulus for welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps.

It is alleged that Duncan failed to update records with the Seneca County Division of Human Services and obtained benefits that she was not entitled to.

Duncan will appear in the Waterloo Village Court at a later date.
