Palmyra man arrested during traffic stop for outstanding warrant

Police say a Palmyra man was arrested following a traffic stop.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carl D. Johnson, 34, of Palmyra for a notice to appear warrant for a previous DWI.

Johnson was stopped in the town of Macedon where it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant in Monroe County.

Johnson will answer the charges at a later date.
