Police report the arrest of a Phelps man following a larceny investigation.
According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Timothy M. Tandle, 39, of Phelps for petit larceny.
Tandle was observed by Asset Protection at the Walmart Supercenter to be pushing a cart full of merchandise out the store without rendering payment. He had fled the scene prior to police arriving but was later located.
He will appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
