Farmington man arrested after damaging motor vehicle

Police say a Farmington man was arrested following the investigation into a damaged motor vehicle.

According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Samuel Hernandez, 19, of Farmington for criminal mischief.

It is alleged that Hernandez intentionally damaged a motor vehicle with a key, causing upwards of $800 in damages. Hernandez went on to admit to committing the crime.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will return to the Canandaigua City Court at a later date to answer the charges.
