The Waterloo Indians outlasted the Midlakes Screaming Eagles, 43-30, in the Class B State Play-In game at Palmyra-Macedon High School on Tuesday night. They will advance to the New York State Far West Regional on Saturday at Rush-Henrietta High School and will face the Section VI representative (Eden vs Lewiston-Porter).

Waterloo led after every quarter, but didn’t pull away until the fourth quarter. Midlakes trailed by just one point at the end of the first quarter and four at the break. Waterloo outscored Midlakes 25-16 in the second half to earn the 13-point victory.
The Indians were led by Macy Carr’s 14 points. Giavanna White-Principio also finished in double figures as she netted 11 points.
The Screaming Eagles were led by Callie Walker’s 11 points.
