Police report the arrest of a Seneca Falls woman following a narcotics investigation.
According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shelly Baran, 46, of Seneca Falls for criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband.
It is alleged that Baran possessed a controlled substance when she reported to the jail for weekend commitment.
Baran was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in the Town of Romulus court at a later date.
