Police report the arrest of a Wayne County man following an investigation.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew T. Strickland, 35, of Ontario for violating a stay away order of protection.
Strickland allegedly sent several text messages to a female victim while the order of protection was in effect.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail where he is pending arraignment.
