Police report the arrest of a Canandaigua man following a complaint.
According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Juan B. Torres, 47, of Canandaigua for making physical contact with an individual who has an order of protection against him.
Upon investigation Torres admitted to police he did, in fact, make contact with that individual. He was charged with criminal contempt, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Torres will appear in the Penn Yan Village Court to answer charges.
