Syracuse blows 18-point lead in loss to Miami to close out regular season (full coverage)

The Syracuse men’s basketball team (15-16, 9-11 ACC) closed out the regular season by blowing an 18-point lead and losing to the Miami Hurricanes (22-9, 14-5 ACC), 75-72, on Saturday afternoon at the Carrier Dome.

The Orange led by 10 points with 2:19 left in regulation.

Buddy Boeheim scored a game-high 30 points on senior day.

Syracuse suffers its first losing regular season in Jim Boeheim’s 46-year coaching career.
