The Buffalo Sabres won their second game in a row on Friday night as they rallied to beat the Minnesota Wild, 5-4, at KeyBank Center.
The Wild tied the game at two early in the third period and minutes later took a 3-2 lead, but the Sabres responded with three consecutive goals to earn the victory.
Jeff Skinner scored twice for Buffalo while Casey Mittelstadt, Kyle Okposo and Victor Olofsson also netted goals.
Craig Anderson turned aside 29-of-33 shots to earn career win No. 299.
The Sabres power play went 2-for-3 while the penalty kill finished 1-for-2.
Kirill Kaprizov notched two goals for Minnesota while Kevin Fiala and Ryan Hartman also tallied.
Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 33-of-37 shots in the loss.
The Sabres continue their hoemstand on Sunday with an afternoon game against the Los Angeles Kings. Face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
