Officials say the cause of an overnight structure fire in Lyons remains under investigation.
According to a release from the Lyons Fire Department, a call for a multi-family structure fire came in around 1:07 a.m.
First arriving units found heavy fire and immediately requested mutual aid to respond. Among those called were Newark, Wallington, Alton, Clyde, Geneva, and Oaks Corners. Lyons and Newark EMS responded, as well as Wayne County ALS.
Overhaul remained underway as of 9 a.m.
