The Cornell men’s lacrosse team (4-0) defeated Ohio State (4-1), 14-11, on Saturday afternoon at Schoellkopf Field.
The Big Red were led by CJ Kirst and John Piatelli who each scored four goals. Billy Coyle and Hugh Kelleher each netted two goals while Michael Long and Aiden Blake also scored to round out the scoring for Cornell.
Chayse Ierlan made 11 saves to earn his fourth win of the season.
Ed Shean and Jason Knox each recorded two goals to lead Ohio State while Jack Myers, Colby Smith, Scott White, Connor Cmiel, Jackson Reid, Justin Inacio and James Gurr also scored.
Caton Johnson made 10 saves in the loss.
Cornell is back in action on Saturday, March 12 when they take on Penn State at 12 p.m.
