Police report the arrest of a Lyons man following a traffic stop that occurred in August 2021.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gregory O. Parker, 58, of Lyons after report of an alleged stolen vehicle.
Upon investigation, patrol stopped the vehicle in the Town of Lyons. During the stop, a white solid substance was observed on the floorboard. Lab results later identified the substance to be crack cocaine. Parker was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Parker was taken into custody and will respond to the charges in the Town of Lyons court at a later date.
