The Livingston County Office of Workforce Development (LCOWD) is now accepting applications for the 2022 Livingston Youth Employment Program (LYEP).
All Livingston County residents age 14 to 20 who meet the program’s household income requirements are eligible to apply. The LYEP provides gainful summer job opportunities at businesses throughout Livingston County, said LCOWD and Youth Bureau Deputy Director Mary Guldenschuh.
“This is a fantastic chance for our local youth to find employment this summer, while also learning important work skills that will serve them for life,” said Guldenschuh. “This income opportunity will also go a long way to help families and impact the local economy.”
Applicants in foster care or in households that receive cash assistance, Medicaid, HEAP, SSI, or SNAP benefits are automatically eligible for the program.
